"For God so loved the World
that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life" John 3:16
What to Expect...
What is a "Tent Meeting" like?
Each evening the gospel
service, or "meeting", begins with singing and prayer. There are two 20-25 minute messages based on biblical texts. The purpose of the gospel messages is to explain from God's Word how a person can
know God, personally, through Jesus Christ. The service is closed with prayer and a final hymn.
Will I be Comfortable?
The
sponsors of the gospel tent meetings are interested in creating a
safe, comfortable atmosphere for members of our community to hear
what God's Word says for them. There are no solicitations,
altar calls, public appeals for funds or church membership, or other
public displays. You are welcome to come and listen without
fear of embarrassment.
What do I need to bring?
Bibles and hymn books are available for your reference during the service. Cold water and other conveniences for warm summer evenings are provided.
Just bring yourself, your family, and your friends!
